Our Services
It all begins with a thought, “Maybe therapy would help..”
Helpers
Therapists/Teachers/Social Workers/ Helpers/Health Care etc … whatever your title is, there is a lot of about self care and seeking out our own supports, but the “how” has been less clear. How to find those people and balanced tools. Well, this is your sign: I could be one of those people!
As therapists, we give a lot of ourselves to others - our tribe, our families, our clients. It can help to have a place that’s just for you, a place to protect and reflect on your needs, from someone who knows and loves the job, but also knows healthy boundaries are important. To keep oneself in a healthy, whole place, where healing happens.
I’ve got mine, let me be yours.
Couples
I was once told (by someone very wise, who was told by someone very wise) that marriage (partnerships) can be a place to repair old or present hurts from other areas of life; a sacred space to hold for each other, to heal with each other within conflict. It was incredibly impactful for me, as I consider myself a witness to healing for partnerships.
I have completed level two of Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and use their therapy and techniques, which lends itself to repair-focused work, with simple and effective tools.
It can be difficult to grow into your full, whole selves together, but it is also worth the hard work to show up as your whole self, and honor your partner’s whole self. And sometimes, we all need a little support and help to do the rewarding hard work.
Adults
We can be expected to be “all the things” as our roles have shifted over time. Making time for oneself is often what is sacrificed, and while it is understandable, it can be considered an act of resistance to set aside place for your whole self and healing. One hour, whenever you have need or are able. A place for you.
Therapy isn’t the place for perfection. So, show up with whatever you have, and find your own act of resistance, to heal and make whole. To rediscover your self, parts changed and altered over time, to explore the “stuff” in your soul.
